What's with the lack of shops that'll do stainless exhaust???

I also wish more muffler shops would mandrel bend. I know it probably doesn't matter that much unless you are running an exotic motor with high HP but I can't stand some of the ugly bends that most of them do. I guess the benders are just too expensive.

We are glad to bend stainless, when we do, we go all the way. Stainless hangers, stainless clamps, we even outfitted our old welder with stainless wire and gas. We feel you should go all the way.

Care to do an online quote (ballpark of course) for dual 2.5 pipes from the headers back on a K5? To be honest, I'm picky and don't trust the shops around here for work like that.

I guess I'm one of the "one out of a hundred" guys.:D When I built my Jeep I wanted an all stainless exhaust. At the time there was a shop across town that would mandrel bend stainless and TIG weld it (they went out of business a couple of years ago unfortunately). Other than crushing one of the pipes on a rock it's been a great setup. I repaired the crushed section by buying a piece of mandrel bent tubing from Summit and MIG welding it back in. No issues since the repair. A little pic whoring . . .
