Just curious to see how you guys built your rig.

Mine is a daily driver that can still be wheeled on the weekends. Plus it looks mean too.

my yellow truck is strictly a mud truck.( for now) my stepside is a Street racer and Sand truck. My brown k20 is My DD/poser mallrig . My green k20 is my trailrig/firewood hauler supreme. My burb' is my tow rig/faimlytrukster and my F-350 is my work truck

Mine is still a semi DD, weekend wheeler. I don't drive it everyday, and I don't wheel it every weekend but that's what its built for. The build is still evolving, where I'm trying to make it even better off road while getting more civilized, efficient and quieter on road.

Mine is built for Mud & trails.......Deep mud. But I have been shifting to some rock use the past few years.

It also gets its fair share of sand abuse.

I dont know where the "building for" option is but I voted anyways. I like the Form and Function concept the best.

I built mine for a daily driver/weekend warrior but chose the one about the ladies. For some reason all the good lookin ladies around here like my truck.:D
Not to brag but I get lots of looks from them when I drive it and I know its not me cause I dont get the same looks when Im not in or around it.

I voted for the nekkid option. My trail truck is built to do anything, but its not a K5 so it didnt qualify for that answer choice. I might be able to pick up women in it, but not the kind I'd want...

i went with all in one because while its currently built mostly for mud, this summer itll have different suspension and a doubler, while being my daily driver. i guess that counts for all in one right?

All around trails. Most of the dallask5 members and I are more about trails than anything else. I will still see mud, rocks, and mall crawlin. I also DD mine...

I voted nekkid too... But all in one K5 is the goal. Work Mon-Fri, boat ramp on the weekend or the snow, or the trails, or a road trip, or where ever or what ever I want to do. The ulimate K5 will not be the same rig to you as it is to me though.

id say rock crawling, my favorite terrain to wheel and my trucks is getting built that way

well most of the time its sittin in the driveway broke:haha:

but yeah trails are where its at if you ask me. all around vehicle. i really like the "adventure" aspect of the hobby.

i basically want a all around weekend warrior...

I really dont like rocks but that is just me...
in NJ there are some nice trails, sugar sand hills, and mud....

I also will eventually start carying tools and extra parts.. I want to drive to the trails and drive back to my house... no trailered rig for me..... :haha: not that there is anything wrong with that....

anyhow...
I will eventually carry an extra
alternator
waterpump
starter
belts
oil
oil filter
all fluids
set of d-shafts
set of axles front and back
tools

oh yeah and a few rolls of duct tape!!!!

using my blazer as a DD and a mild wheeler is basically my goal...even thought i still havent gone wheeling:(

Camping. At least that's how it started - I wanted a competent truck to go camping in and to get me into and out of places that others would have a hard time going. That means it has to be good on the highway/trail/rock.

I don't know which to chose, I have a dd/stock, 83 k2500/inpieces thats gunna be a tow rig/work/whatever truck, and my 72 I think I'm going to turn into mostly trail rig.......

Oh, and I'm trying to work on all three at once:doah:

Decisions.........decisions.......

I do it all...I am a Wheeling Slut...I'll do it all...well not the real hardcore stuff but I will drop you a line if you wanna try, then Yank ya off :D :haha:

mine is still my DD but mostly i do light to moderate offroading most of the time but it seems the longer i have it the more i want to add to the blazer. :D
