Have been looking at fuel wheels for my 1972 4x4 Blazer. I will be going with either 32 or 33 1050s and I'm wondering what offset should I go with to keep the tires flush with the outside of the fenders I hear the front and rear are different. For reference the factory rally wheels have 4" backspacing.
Well I am going with 32 or 33 x 10.50 on 16" or 17" wheels not sure what a 4" back space would be like on this one
I forgot to say the rallys are 8"wide. Here's a pic.
If you go with a 17x9, you are going to want to stick with like a 0 offset or a 5.00 inch backspace. Not sure if that is going to clear everything though, I haven't done a set of wheels like that on an older truck. Most everything is a 9 with a -12 or 4.5 inch backspace.

17x9 4.5 bs will fit and look good but won't be "flush" in front.
If you want to even up the track width front to back you really need spacers or a wider axle out back. I don't think you'll have enough inside clearance to get much wider than an 8" wheel "flush" up front.
Most will agree that wheels look better with a "dish" or "lip" and that modern "front wheel drive" type high offset wheels look funny on older trucks but it's your baby...

As I recall now, I think 4.5" back spacing is what you're looking for. However, the stock rear axle is narrower than the front. If you want to even that up, you'll need to get 1.5" spacers for the back axle so that you can use the same wheels on both axles.

I believe so. The space in the back will make it match the front.
Looks like a set of 10.50 would be perfect
