My 69’ c10 has the 5 lug conversion done by a previous owner. I anticipated having to possibly run a spacer on the front wheel to clear the brake caliper. No big deal.
I’ve multiple posts about issue with the 6 to 5 lug conversion and the stock rallies not working with the drum to disk conversion of the front wheel.
Most say just run a spacerand possibly grind a smidge off the caliper to clear.
I did not anticipate the wheels not fitting over the rear drum brakes. The lip on the inside of wheel is butting up against the drum prevent it fitting flush.
The rear 3.07 gears.
Wheels are 15x7 steel wheels would 15x8 solve this?
How and why?
