What size wheel spacers would I need to run h1 wheels on my truck, and will the wheels pass inspection? Thanks.

I use 1-1/2 spacers. I use the kind that has studs on one side and holes in between to bolt them to your wheel studs on the axle. They are stronger and better than the spacers that you will need to run extended studs on your axle.

That's what kind I was going to run I didn't know if a 1.5 would be enough, also do you know were to get the h1 wheels fairly cheap?

I'm going to run 2" spacers on my 91 blazer, I think it would also depend on how wide your tires are, probably only if they were really wide though. Trailworthyfab sells them, I think they are reasonably priced. Google would probably yield better results. Keep an eye on Craigslist and here obviously. Good luck at inspection.

I bought mine off eBay. I think that you should just look around. There are a lot of them being sold these days. I got the chrome plated alloys. :doah:

Thanks for the help, i've been looking for the wheels on craigslist. But haven't found a good deal. I might go with 2 inch spacers to be safe. I'm gonna run 12.50 tires for now, but i like to plan ahead. Lastly should i buy run flats for the wheels?

That's the big benefit of running the h1 rims, unless your running them for looks.

Chrome plated alloy H1's ...........:haha: Perhaps you mean H2's from a Hummer as opposed to double bead lock H1's from military Humvee's :D

Check out militaryoffroadtires.net they are selling sets of 4, 12 bolt H1's for $100 , and $30 for singles. Trailworthy fab as mentioned also has them and sells 12 bolts for $49.95 each. I'm actually waiting on a set (from miltaryoffroadtires) to arrive myself.
I can't help on spacer size, as I will be re centering them, but as far as legality goes, they do have a DOT stamp on them so AFAIK that should mean :thumb:.
I would wonder how spacers would fair for a safety inspection, more then the wheels, but :dunno: all states are different.

Just noticed you are in NC, there is a business called Berg surplus (or something like that) in Fayetteville (I think), my brother bought a set of tires from them and had nothing but good to say about them. Here's a link http://www.bergtires.com/

Run flats are nice....but they are not my cup of tea......it is all based on your personal preference...

A 2 inch spacer would be fine as long as you trim your fenders. Otherwise, it is gonna rub.

Well I'm gonna run 37x12.5 military tires on a 4 inch lift with a ez inch moving the front axle up, so I figured I'd have to trim anyways, there's a place that's called carolinamilitarytires.com and there's a lil bit cheaper than berg.:D

Also keep an eye on govliqudation, there were approx 15 lots of 4 tires and wheels (H1's w/ 37's) that just went last week, some lots never got bid on at $150 start bid. All of those were at FT Bragg.

How much was shipping on your wheels?

I'll have to check, I honestly can't remember :doah:

I just checked on the place your ordered yours and there sold out. But ft brag is a long ways from my home because i live on the tenn. border, and that's why I haven't picked up tires from there.

Im looking to even out my rear wheels with the front, i cant stand that the front is wider, anyways, did you get 1-1/2 to do the same or would i need a different size to just even out the back with the front?

Thanks!

If you really want to go all out you can run DRW front hubs (if you had a 60) and a D70HD rear with SRW hubs on it. WMS is 77" front and back with this setup, and perfect for H1 wheels.
