It's to my understanding that the rear axle is 3" shorter than the front axle. Is anyone using spacers in rear to correct this. Also, are there pros n cons in doing this. I'm asking cause getting ready to do 3/4axle swap soon. Thx for any info on this. :cool1:

Ive talked with the tecs at performance, and they say they have never had one break yet. They said that it has the same properties as a deep dish wheel. But, if you are thinking of doing the axle swap, go with the 1 ton. The 3/4 ton is really just a beefed up 1/2 ton.
God Bless.

Its pretty basic. You said your axles are 3" shorter than the front. Take the 1 1/2" spacers, and put them over your wheel studs on your axle. The kit should come stud nuts. Tighten them down to the correct torque, and you are ready to go. Put your wheels back on, and you now have an axle that is 3" longer.
