Here's a couple shots from me and a buddy of mine out at Brushy Creek. It was a good run. Dana 60 = Beef. I was quite happy neither of us had any driveline carnage this weekend...despite me giving it hell out there.

I'm in the white blazer, and my friend Thomas (member: Tom4) is in the blue. He's runnin 1 tons, detroits, 5.38's, propane, th350(with a manual valve body), hydro assist, winch, etc. Rockin truck, it did really well out there.

My truck did alright. My new carb floods pretty easily which is ultra ghey, but I'm gonna work on that. Also, I think my g80 out back quit workin. It always sucked, but I could seldom get it to engage when I needed it to. Ah well, I'll make friends with Lincoln.

Here's pretty early into the run. Thomas got hung up for a minute till I realized he had only locked 1 hub :doah::haha:

Testin out the Boggers for the first time. Bastards dig like crazy:D Also you might be able to see that the license plate area of the bumper is bashed in. I was goofin around and got caught up sideways in some ruts in 2wd. Popped it in 4wd and the truck launched out of the ruts and into a tree hahaha. Also hit the hood. You can see the bark stuck over one of the digits of my license plate.

Then one pain in the ass stuck. Right rear tire just dug and dug and dug. Had to winch quite a bit to get out of that. Winches are awesome lol.

Sorry for the lack of pics, everyone that went was having too much fun ridin along to take many pics. Both of us took on water in the cab for the first time. That was interesting...wish I had gotten pics of us doin it. I ended up with a decent amount of body carnage, but neither of us had any driveline damage or other pain in the ass happenings during the stucks.

Looks like a good time. Yeah, don't want to spin those boggers while sitting still. I learned that a few times in my heavy ass CUCV when I was running boggers. Definitely need to make friends with lincoln and 14 bolt.:D

hey, where is brushy creek? is it far from ft. worth? I've been trying to find a good place to wheel, and that place looks awesome! I'm still workin on gettin the K5 tuned just right, and workin out a couple little things before I can take it out, but then I'll definitely be needing some fun places to take it. but in the meantime..hell, I'll take the Z71 out there...ya think it would survive? anyway...nice pics, looks like fun...and your blazer looks awesome.

ftwk5, it's in Royse City...http://brushycreekmotorfarm.tripod.com/

I am going to try to go when I come in in August. I would have thought with as much rain as you guys have been getting, it might be a little worse.

Yep that's it. It would probably take you a couple hours to get there from Ft. Worth, but it's a pretty fun place. It's also legal so that's always cool. Lemme know when you're in town and maybe we'll all be able to go out there. Apparently this place drains out quickly. There was one part down in that creek where debris was lodged in overhanging trees roughly 10 feet off the surface of the water. That's probably how that creek got cut so deep.

Brushy is a great place for shakedown runs. And like he said, its legal. If you want to get your fix, it is a nice place. You can wheel all night.

It is off of 30 in Royse City.

I want to check it out. My dad has a Rubicon and I have a buddy with an old full size Dodge that I want to get out there. I will be in the area from the 16th to the 25th.

i was thinking of reverse mouting my boggers so this doesnt happen to me..

get rid of that reciever hitch and i bet u will go places u never dreamed, custom make it where it goes thru the middle of your rear bumper, you will be glad you did, also after seein your pics i cant wait till memorial day, grrr i got alot of work, i have to weld my perches and shock mounts on my 14 bolt, dismount and mount my hawgs on 8 lug wheels, put some axle seals in that 14 bolt and dissassemble and install 4.56 in my front 10b then reassemble, grrrr this sucks. oh well you just gave me alot of encouragement thanks man

That Blue Blazer looks great!

After having so much fun out there I'm thinking about running propane and hydro assist on my honda.:D
