Wheeling 46's on my CUCV (More Pics Added9/29& 9/30 pg5&6)

Sweet. that is about 400 less then my blazer. I have been thinking real hard about a set for my blazer so please keep us updated. Looks awsome.

The 46's Look Great, How Much Wheel Travel Do You Expect To Have? Do You Plan On More Trimming Or Does It Have Good Clearance? And Last Question Do You Have A Side Pic Of It?

Did you have any issues with mounting the 20"s? The military bead is different than the civillian bead. Got any close up shots of the rim of the 20"s?

Both look awesome!!! Especially the CUCV!! :D

I'll take some better pictures the next time I get a chance. Right now I'd settle for just getting home before dark. Anyhow, here's a side shot before any trimming. The only fender mod is a slight trim to the front of the front fender that I used to fit the 11.00R16s I was running with a 4" lift. The picture with the two tires side by side shows the 37 3/4" tall 11.00R16 and the 46 1/2" tall 395/85R20. I mounted all 4 46's by hand, but it was a bit of a chore. I'm expecting my rear driveshaft to be done in the next few days and Jesse should have my front shaft to me in the next couple weeks. I'll post more pics as my project progresses.

CUCV = 6.2 diesel = will run on Waste Vegetable Oil. Also, I have a small car for those commuting duties.

I showed my buddy this thread who had a CUCV once, and after a couple minutes he replied "that is my truck".

I am guessing ya bought this off of Dean S. in NC. He got it from my friend in a trade for his Ranger. Here is how she looked when it was bought off of a farm in April 2004 I believe.

That's crazy. That IS my truck. I think I like it better on 46's. I looked at the pictures before I read the post and I kept thinking "wow, that truck's dented in exactly the same places as mine". Thanks for posting. It's cool to get some history on a vehicle like that.

I think it would look better with spinners :haha: :haha:
Thats a sweet truck have you driven it yet? wonder what kind of street manners its gonna have
