I know this doesn't sound like an important topic, but I am sitting here now reminded that my hair is slowly sliding off my head by the pain on my forehead. I was hoping to rely on the experience that you all have on what hat is best for wheeling. Here is what I have had so far. Baseball cap, Pro: protects forehead semi wind resistant, Con: leaves ears and neck open for burning. Straw cowboy hat, Pro: gives that here to party look, protects forehead, ears and neck, Con: not wind proof, exposes underarm to burns while walking around with your hand holding onto hat to keep it on. Boonie hat, Pro: protects forehead, ears and neck, Con: Same wind proof problems as the cowboy hat. I could just go sun screen but sure as hell I sweat and it drips in my eyes. I need suggestions.
Now if I was driving an old Land Rover, especially one in tiger stripes and the spare tyre on the bonnet ... pith helmet it would be!
