hey, not related to anything, but I thought you'd all aphreciate seeing my friend's burban....airborn
(keep in mind this is the landing! you can see the back passenger tire just touching down. lookback about 10 feet to imagine the jump) pretty smooth landing(S!) acutally

Nope, not from the jump anyway (he's got some top end probs gotta work out/he likes to keep his foot up in the four barrel /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif). He just hit it over and over, I was like 'you worried about breaking anything?' and he's like 'nope, that's what the BDS warranty is for'.

I see a new 10 bolt front in his future... it's not a matter of if, it's when the passenger tube breaks the case.

Yeah, they are everywhere. Which is why I have so many 10 bolt parts and I run 10 bolts myself.

When the case breaks... it ruins the differential carrier... along with the axleshaft...

The tie rod usually gets monkeyed up. If you land hard enough the tires will hit the inner wheelwells. The springs usually get twisted and ruined. The tires soemtimes roll into the front of the fender because the differential case becomes an anchor.

I hope he cleans up the mess when it spills its guts all over the ground.

Where in VT are you? I'm going to be living in southwestern NH by this fall, and you guys look like "my kind of folks"!!!!! Hopefully we can meet up and do some flying. /forums/images/graemlins/deal.gif

'weezsho-iz dem kinda folks'
we're pretty much all the way north, if the pic were panned just a little more to the left you could see canadia.
I think you'll be able to hook up with some good folks in the 'live free or DIE' state as well. and incase no one has told you yet: welcome to the salt belt chevy-brother.

Max,

Don't worry, I know what I'm in for....I grew up in NH my whole young life, so I know what winters (and salt) are all about!!!!

I'm not sure that I'm willing to drive all my virgin CA vehicles during those winter months...but once the rain washes all the winter salt away, I'm game for pulling them out of storage and having some fun.
