Morning,

I have an 85 K5 with all the emissions gear on it, I'm trying to find a replacement EGR Control Solenoid, can't seem to locate them online. I was wondering if anyone knows where to locate them.

It looks like the AC/DELCO number is 214-636. Summit racing has them. Probably Rock Auto too.

Those aren’t compatible with an 85. Those have two ports..the one I have has three.

I was looking at that as well. Does yours have three usable vacuum ports, or is one of them a dummy port that is not actually used? I have seen that before where the factory will plastic mold more vacuum ports than is actually used.

The only thing I can think of is to get the original GM part number, and then see if a parts person can interchange that part number. You may have to use a 2-port EGR control solenoid. If you use a vacuum-T to tie together port J with the EGR valve, and then keep vacuum port F as the manifold signal...that might work.

Is this Calif emissions equipped. My Federal 1985 sticker looks nothing like yours. i only show two vacuum hoses on solenoid. What is a diff pressure sensor and no vacuum to distributor.

If you where able to post a picture of the federal emission vacuum diagram, then you could figure out how to use a 2-port EGR solenoid in this system.

That might work with the vacuum t, I’ll give it a shot. Thanks
