I love the bumpers made by Kennesaw Mountain ( http://www.kenmtn.com ) but I would sure love to save the shipping half-way across the country! Anyone know of a company in Colorado that makes similar products (take a look to see what exactly they make)?

If it's what you want I'd look deeper into it. Their site is very cool and I like the custom work that they have done. Unless you find a place close enough to drive to I bet shipping wouldn't be that much more wherever they come from. Why settle for an alternative if your just going to beat yourself up for it later. My thoughts on the matter. :)

Oh, and that monkey day's thing is very cool. I wish a shop around here did that.

Yeah, going to help at the shop would be super cool. I was hoping to find somewhere I could drive to. Shipping on a 200lb of bumper is going to cost half as much as the bumper itself.

But I have been eyeing these guys for several years now, and I think their stuff is top notch. I love the customizable options you can get. Unless someone speaks up about something semi-local I'll probably take your advice and order from them.

Buy one and drive over to pick it up.

Longmont to Glenwood Springs is only about 3 1/2 hours.

Yeah, I'll check what they have. I wasn't overly impressed when I looked a few years ago. I didn't see your post before (and thus my comment wasn't aimed at you) because we were posting at the same time.
