I had been running them on my blazer for a year (33x12.5 r15) and loved them. More aggressive than a BFG AT, and worked very well in soft sand ( I always thought the BFG mud terrains dug in too easy in the sand). They self cleaned well when muddy, stuck to ice and snow like they were glued... Where did they go?
I recently lost the tread on one while on the freeway (rear tires were ooold) And was hellbent on finding a set of 35s... can't find anything bigger than 31" for a 15" rim. A guy at a tire store told me 15" rims are obsolete! Are these tires really discontinued? (in the good sizes)

I am not willing to switch rims as I love my stock ralley wheels...
BFG tires are cheap, but I always felt they were a compromise: AT's suck in mud and I never thought they worked well on sandy rocks, and MT's get me bogged down in the sand...

Been looking for something similar, but not having much luck. Everything is either too expensive, or has bum reviews, or don't hold up well to highway driving...:mad:

I know what you mean with the MT's, I have them on my 2000 K3500, they're great in the mud and snow, but they suck on ice and sand. Dig too much in sand and not enough contact patch on ice. I run around by alot of construction sites all summer when I'm working, they're always muddy around here.

Alot of companies are doing away with 15in wheels. I dont really see how they get off doing away with 15in options for a mud tire seeing as how alot of older trucks run 15in wheels but it the truth. You can hardly get Goodyear MTR's in any 15in wheel sizes now.

I don't know for sure but I use to have the Dueler AT also and really liked them but IIRC when I bought another truck I asked the Firestone dealer about them and thought they said that they were discontinued and the Dueler Revo was it's replacement. The Revo is a mild AT and a great tire for the soccer mom who sees a lot of rain and snow.a.
