You can get the 4 prong hub socet at about any parts store. Mine was like $20. At Autozone, they dont carry one for a gm 10 bolt front axle. I got mine from them for a ford D44 front axle and its the same thing.

Just tell them what you have. I have several different ones each one fits a variety of axles of different brands of trucks.

Dana 44's and 10-bolts have the same outers, so the same hub socket would work on both

Yup. Remove locking hub, caliper, undo Magic Hub Nuts with the Magic Hub Tool, and remove rotor/hub assy and spindle and bearings and such.
Assembly is the reverse of removal, with the addition of swearing at losing bolts, etc.

okay now that we know where to get the hub socket, where in the world do we get the adjuster socket for the sleeve on the upper ball-joint???

just get a d60, dont bother puttin the 10b back together. thats what i did. took it apart, got it geared then found a d60. then parted out the 10b.
