I've tried calling them for several days an no answer. Keep getting a message machine. Are they still in business or has anyone had any luck with them recently? Just trying to get a SYE kit for my 241.....

Just called them a few days back. No 241SYE's in stock, they supposedly put me on an email list for when they come back in stock, supposedly June.

I had to call for a few days before someone picked up. FWIW, HAD is selling a 241 SYE now too.

Yea, I tried calling around Christmas time/January and they had just run out. Said they wouldn't get anything until May. Can't believe they can be out of stock for 5+ months! They looked to be the company to go to for a really good product but being unavailable for several months sure does make me question that a bit.

Are you going to wait for JB or try HAD?

They had the same issue last year(?) around the same time frame. I'm sure they just make stuff in batches, and when it's gone, it's gone.

HAD's cost more, but I believe the difference (at least one) between it and JB is that the seal retainer is steel not AL, so I'm sure that adds to it. I don't see why I need that though, and I'm in no real hurry, so I'll probably wait on JB. I didn't see any comparison explaining why the HAD product is particularly better other than steel vs. AL retainer, so the additional cost for me doesn't make sense.

FWIW I think JB will sell theirs without a yoke for something like $320, and since I already have a flange, that saves me some more money that will just get dumped into a driveshaft.

I would have preferred a super short SYE, but unless HAD's is, not available for the passenger drop cases.

This same thing happened to me when I bought mine back in late 2012. I went to order and he didnt' have any in stock, then he emailed me a month or so later saying he had some. So ordered and as soon as I ordered he ran out of one of the parts, so it took a while to show up. Luckly I wasn't in any hurry. Every single time I called I talked to the same dude. I think it's a one man show and I think he gathers all the necessary parts from seperate vendors into a "kit" and then sells the kit. So he is dependent on all these other vendors to get him the parts...makes it a little more challenging. If you can/want to wait, it's a great kit with top notch stuff

I've been calling every few days with no answer, so I finally decided to just leave a message yesterday. Got a call back today and he said his delivery got pushed again. Expecting parts end of June, first part of July! Amazing. out of stock for 7+ months.

I email them the other day got reply on sunday night real fast :eek1:

but what I want there out of stock and no real return date set yet . :doah:

I sent them a question via email the other day and got a reply within a couple days. But I already have the parts, just wanted to confirm they would fit in a different application.

Jeff, I got your message, then managed to delete it... Give me a call again. Had just been crazy bsy the last couple of weeks. Things are calming down. I may still have a SYE solution as well...

I called them the other day as well and no answer, but I did leave a message. They called back within a few hours and put me on the email list.

Perhaps it would be a good idea if anyone gets an email or talks to them and finds out they are in stock, post up here so everyone thats waiting, knows.

Will do. I'm crazy busy too! House was suppose to close last Friday and the buyer's lender can't seem to figure this out!

Definitely appreciate any heads-up too. I'll post if I hear anything as well....:waytogo:

Finally! Just placed order on a SYE kit! Called and he said they will be receiving the parts for the kit on Friday so should ship out next week.

Can't wait to get this finally installed.....:waytogo:

Called and left message. Crossing my fingers!

Edit: They called me back, just ordered my kit. For anyone that doesn't want/need them with a yoke (at least for Part #16-1205) it will save you $40 to request a kit without.
