where to buy cucv shackles

thanks for the help man. i don't mind cutting and welding, but it sounds like the easiest way is to use the 73-80 bumpers, blow some holes through and just get some square stock and make my own mounts. thanks again, you've been a big help :cool1:
 
I don't know if parks would allow it or not, but if they don't it's because they are retarded. It would be really tough to get the pin to shoot out under a side load. The more force you put on it would just serve to wedge the pin against the shackle and whatever you have it run through...the sheer friction would hold it in. All the cotter key or flip pin or hare pin does is keep the load pin in place during no-load situations.

My thoughts exactly, but unfortunately I don't make the rules. Sheer physics would keep the pin in place in pretty much all load situations. Eh well...it's not really a big deal anyways.
