I worked for Motion for a few years, while in between career paths, and found that they were in bed with ALL the manufacturers - there was no bearing or related components , hydraulic pump and related equipment or motor, gear boxes, couplers , etc that they could not get.I've used Motion Industries many times in the past. I guess I've been very lucky with helpful people. There's even one in the Lynchburg VA area that was not set up for counter sales at all, but the guy still found and ordered bearings for me.
They are a great supplier and can get whatever bearing including knowledge of N.O.S. discontinued stuff - very impressive business ties.
The locations that have no “front sales retail counter” are by design - my boss told me during the interview that the only reason they chose to have a retail counter was to provide additional profit for the brick-n-mortar as long as it doesn’t take any resources away from their commercial customers.
