Where to buy Headliner and Oh Sh*t handle?

I've looked online and have found a few nice headliner kits (I need the whole board, not just the cloth cover) for around $150. They are an ABS plastic board covered in color to match cloth. The shipping on the dang things is the worst part. It's pretty much $50 in shipping anywhere I look. Anyone know any better/cheaper places to get them?

Also, my girl really needs a grab handle for getting in and out of my K5. I'm specifically referring to the one that is attached to the roof on the inside pasanger side of the truck. Anyone know where to order one of these?

Might want to try LMC for the handle. Maybe a junk yard will have the head liner, then you can get it recovered.
 
i just use it as an excuse

to grab a cheap feel as i push them up.

chicks love it!
 
I took one out of the back seat of my crysler and mounted it in the headliner holes. It was even blue like my int.
 
i'm going to tie a rope around the leg of the chair pedestals so that my wife has a stirrup. that prevents having to drill holes at least.

That's a pretty good idea. I certainly don't want to put steps on my K5, and after I lift it higher she is going to need something to help her get in. She's tall and athletic, but eventually it will tough to get in.

Anyone else have a cheaper source for headliners, or any source for the grab handle? I tried LMC for the handle but after running several searches I still came up with nothing.
 
perhaps a piece of chain, welded to the back side of the rocker would work for a step. maybe weld a couple of links together, to give it some shape. wont have to worry about ripping them off on anything, because they'll slide right over. that, and would add to the manly look that we're all after. :D

I could paint it Gold and put some curly hair hanging from the rocker too. Then it would look Magnum PI Manly!!!

Ahh, yes. That would be a much better kind of manly. But you know Magnum used to pull some serious wool even with that silly mustache and those ridiculously short-shorts.
 
yeah, its a wonder you didnt see his ball bearings with those things. where's the puke smiley when you need it? :confused:
