Managed to crack the solid glass pane and would love to replace with opening windows. I don't know how to install said glass either so help in both areas would be appreciated.
Thanks. And even LMC is backordered.solid side glass isnt available new anymore new from any glass company i tried. Proglass, safelite etc all said nope. i ended up buying a used one off the inerwebs for $200.00. ordered ne seals from LMC and paid a local glass shop $120.00 to install. all told, i was out right at $400.00 to replace mine. doesnt count the tint job cuss i had the others retinted for another $450.00 bucks... yeppers, that was a expensive few trips.
you can get sliding glass set ups from LMC. thinking they were around $450.00 plus some shipping, then you still have to order the seals. i opted to stay with a OEM orginal replacment. Might not have been the cheapest way. But im happy with the results..
perhaps you will have better luck finding glass in your area. Good luck in your search..
I'll just have to be patient.I'm interested!!Did you ever find sliding windows? I purchased a top with fixed glass to replace the original top with sliding glass so I have one available. Located in NC
Want a soft topper eventually but want to keep the hard top for now.Just keep in mind of the total cost of replacement glass vs. a whole new soft top from Softopper in Colorado. You might save some weight and some hassle in the long run.
It’s still available. Had some interest but nothing concrete. PM me and we can discussI'm interested!!
