Where to find the cheapest POS body panels?

Looking for some of the cheapest body panels out there. Don't care if they don't fitup etc, just some real crap

Also, I'm kinda in the market for a good tub, well, let me rephrase that, I'm in the market for a pile of crap tub, barely recognizable for anything

Not bad, $300 for a pair of fenders, still not sure if they are up to the total lack of quality I'm looking for though

My guess is that someone is building a buggy...

And instead of taking a 1st Gen and cutting it all to hell.....the idea is to simply add the needed panels to give it the right "look".

No 1st Gens will be harmed by this process


FWIW:

You can borrow heavily from the pickup trucks of the same years....same front fenders, hood, etc. Also the fleetside bed panels are correct, but slightly long for a Blazer application.

We're going to be building an ultra narrow 1st gen blazer. Rather than start with a tub and frame and try and work back, it's going to be easier to layout a chassis and put a 1st gen around it. I can't in good concience tear up a solid 1st gen for this, so cheap body panels is the ticket. The tub, well, I need a VIN I'm going to be registering this thing, and it will, for the most part, be street legal.

BTW, by ultra narrow, I mean shoulder rubbing narrow. It will LOOK like a blazer though, that much I promise

I'm a blazer guy, through and through. I currently own two, looking to build a 3rd, gonna try and make another into a daily driver, etc... How much do I live and breath Blazer? I named my first born son Blazer Scott after my Blazer Scottsdale I love the classic lines of the 1st gen, and want to pay my respects to that make by making a competition rock racer/crawler that is a 1st gen. It will use as many GM parts as I can dig up and use, save for maybe one of the cases All the panels will be reworked to fit, and I do mean all, but the tires will basically be completely outside the body (like I said, NARROW ) running either a 42, or maybe the new 46 LTB if it will ever come out I'll be running a chopped grille, and even try and keep all the emblems in place, not mention, it WILL be a 4 seater LOL. I want to pay serious respect

It sounds like your questioning my concience decision to cut my solid 1st gen up and narrow it? Just kidding. Can't wait to see how it comes out. Someday mine will be back on the road/trail again. Here's a pic if you haven't see it.

Ah, I see. I can't wait to see how it turns out. I know where a first gen is thats been rolled. Just the tub remains(and not much of it is there). I might go see if the vin # is still on it.

Got a '72 tub here in SW Ark. that I need the frontend and frame. Pretty fair tub(no extremely rusted out areas) No top, No title(has vin plate). $500 If it might work, let me know. I can also throw in a POS front clip, if you'll take it!
