Im trying to find out how far forward my axle is. Not to sure where to measure from. But going off of center of OEM bumstop its 3-3.25" forward. Its super close to pitman arm. And I like the shackle angle.

Depending on how accurate you need, and if your rear axle is in the stock location, you could compare against the 106.5" wheelbase.

Eh my axle is moved back from the 56" springs. But I guess some simple math can solve that. What im concerned about mostly is the pitman arm hitting u bolt nuts. The remaining threads will be cut down.

Moved back a spot. Would shorter shackles straighten the angle out possibly? Now the Pittman arm will clear

Kind of in the same boat, I'm not sure how far my axle is moved forward either, Would a simple measurement off the body mount to the axle center line be of any use?

So I'm thinking im just going to put it back to the way it was in the 1st pic. And set the bump stops so they will stop the axle right before it hits the pitman. What you guys think? I got 8" springs so if were to go that high it will almost be at a negative arc

Is there a shorter pitman arm I could use? I just need 3/4-1 inch shorter center to center

I think I'll drill out the top 2 leafs and move it back 1". Looks to be the only option.

From what I've been reading and advice from higher ups it's a bad idea to drill the leaves. Might be leaning towards drilling perches instead

Front of the frame is boxed with tubing for the bolts to go through for extra support. and has a home made frame repair kit i welded on years ago. Way more work then I'd like to do.

Cycle the springs if you are that worried.

Your axle will move back on up travel. Take that into consideration.

I was thinking that but wasn't sure. I tried cycling them as far as possible with what I got and i didn't notice them move back hardly if any. but I was only using a 3 ton floor jack and had the other sides rotor on the ground.

Gotta jack up on the rear axle to flex the front.

Otherwise you are just picking the front up, not twisting it. I tried it a few weeks ago lol.
