if you had a little bit of money to drop in you 60 what would you do of theese options...of course yall know my rig (44s,doubler,hp60)

option 1.buy a detroit,35 spline stubs,flanges,ctm or lonfield u joints

option 2.welded carrier,flanges and lonfield cv's

option3.what elce but run neekid

what would you get???any other suggestions are appreciated as well...

I voted option 1, but I'd throw in there alloy shafts if you don't already have them. 'Course I have to drive mine home at the end of the day, so my priorities may be a bit different.

Welded and Detroit'ed front ends will really put the hurt on your turning radius.... do you run trails that are tight and twisty?

I'd be thinking about a selectable locker up front (ARB or Eaton). It'll cost you more $$$ but the convenience of being able to push a button to only engage the locker when you actually need it will spoil you in no time.

I did 35-spline outers and hubs when I went through mine, but that's about it. Have you actually been breaking parts up front, or is this more of a pro-active strategy for you? :dunno:

pretty sure hes trailoring it. id just weld it, get flanges and longfields

i do run tight twisty trails like the ones at rausch (im sure you know :doah:)

i dont really want a arb due to all the stuff with..just not really interested in it...i would rather have a detroit or something welded or spooled for the simplistiy aspect (im sure i will regret that later but thats how i feel now)

more of a proactive thing..im one of thoose type of people that do things more than once (no money) but if i could i would do everything once even if its overkill

Are'nt those CTM u-joints like super high ridiculously priced? are they really worth it? I've given my old cheapo Naepco BruteForce u-joints a pretty good beating and they have held up fine.

the longields are like 100 bucks more a piece than spicers...what size tire are you running and how you drive your truck means alot..i beat my truck and run 44s so i need some get stuff to prevent trail failures

Plus longfield bought a CTM and a cryoed spicer and broke them along with one of his and his joint was stronger. The data was posted somewhere with the certified results.
