IMO its a toss up, some think the dana has a stronger center section......
Use the one thats in better shape and keep the other one as a spare. It has been my experience that burbs and 10 bolts don't mix
In the front? It really doesn't matter. Their axles shafts are the same thickness, stubs too. Ring gears are the same size.....really doesn't matter....they are the same strength in reality.
They both have pros and cons. But I would choose the 10 bolt because I think they are slightly stronger in the carrier/ring gear area. Other than that, they are dead even in the strength dept.
