Yeah I’ll be indicating that bore too just wanted to make sure I clocked the bolt pattern .FYI : the seal holder for the 203 input is a good centering index to a round pattern adapter . . . this is how i did one of mine . worked like a charm .
I see good idea I don’t have the adapter yet but I’ll order it then drill !Fit the doubler adapter and make sure that is flat on the mounting feet.
and you shouldnt need to center much if any . atleat my auto trans adapter fit snug over this seal holder on the face of the 203 for a stupid easy mark of pattern and drill/tap . . . dont forget to plug off the extra threw holes from the old pattern .Yeah I’ll be indicating that bore too just wanted to make sure I clocked the bolt pattern .
I know it’s a great write up but I will be going with the nv4500if going on nv4500 you dont need adapter . . unless your talking the doubler one ?

Hey on the the face of the 203 that bolts to your trans the crescent shaped shaft that sticks out is it just out in the wind . Because I’m going to drill and tap the face then bolt it directly to the back of the transmission. No adapter?Couple pictures of mine assembled and out of the truck

View attachment 283659 Getting going all down hill from here lol . Drilling and tapping for Nv4500

No problem.Wanna drill my 203 too?
Definitely could do it in the garage but now I know my trans mount is in the right place holes are good and line up perfect. it’s what I do for a living hard not to use it lolover kill on the bridge port .
i did mine on the bench . its cast iron / easy drill and tap job .
but if you got kool tools have fun .![]()
Lol got the goo from when I built my 700r4 a definite must have . Where did you get that kit from ?maybe 32 spline front output ?
tap the little plug holes for the shift fork safety rails and fork roll pins to be pipe thread and seal them up good n tight .
if you went clocked 205 up then possible fluid level tube sight kit . to keep a eye on fluid level as stock plugs no longer effective .
otherwise not much i can think of otherwise .
get a tub of this for all the needle bearings .
