Which locker????

Detriot is cheaper. Also you dont have to worry about air lines and such going to it.

Personally I'm looking at getting a lockright.

Seems to be close enough to the same as a Detroit but is cheaper.

Lockrights and Detroits are like comparing apples to oranges. Lockrights are lunchbox lockers, and while they work good for what they are, they cant match up with a detroit in strength. Huge difference in design. I have both a lockright (front axle) and a detroit (rear 14ff) in my truck and they both work well. For all out strengh....I dont think any locker can touch the detroit.

In a 14FF a detroit is a lunchbox locker also:D . Between ARB and Detroit like the original poster asked I would say Detroit for cost reasons. If you remove the solenoids, air lines, and oring issue possibilities I feel they are equal strength wise. I run a detroit and do not know much aboot ARBs but I do not when unlocked they are open and most of the issues with them can be traced back to improper installation.

Detroit would be my choice or if offroad only I would weld it up.
