I am also due for some 17" rims to fit on my new Iroks now. My truck is being built for an all around tough truck so I need a rim to match this.

I really like the new atx teflon rims. The victors are my favorites but I think the teflon is more of just a gimmick than anything and will probably end up looking like a scratched up non-stick frying pan after a while. But if I could find another rim that has that look I would be all over it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I have cash in hand to buy them and its burning a hole in my pocket:D

Max,

Why not just get a set of H2 wheels? I just put a set on my K5 and even bought a spare set as one of the rims got busted on a rock....hmmm.

Those H2 rims are made in a forged version by Aloca. Very strong yet lightweight. Only thing is they are hard to find and usually expensive.

yeah actually I had considered those rims too. Might be a little harder to find up here than they are down there though. Look good on your truck.

You still planning on switching to the automatic Jeff?

um, pretty sure the reason they are so popular is they are cheap/easy to find in most parts of the country now.......

I got fuel injection and now I have the control I wanted with the manual.

These H2 wheels are cheap as hell and light weight. I bought the set on the K5 with the tires. I bought the spare set of four for $200 with tires on the rims at a little tire shop across the street.

I got mine off ebay - $150 / set of 4 w/ centers + 125 shipping (from Utah). 275 isn't bad (The hummer dealer near me wants 300.00 a set.
