Did you get the EZ-ride or the HD? There is an extra leaf in the HD that makes them stiffer. For shocks I am now recommending everyone to get rid of the twin-tubes. I noticed a big difference going from "lift kit" shocks to Bilsteins. Not only softer, but also more control. You get what you pay for, but if you don't want to cough up $300 for the 5100-series, there might be something long enough in the blue and yellow ones - i want to say they are called B6-series or just HD. Supposedly Rough Country is also selling a monotube for lifted trucks, wich is OK.
Do yourself a favor and install some higher shock mounts in the front before spending money on shocks. Like the Ford towers, for example.
There are definately limits to how soft any lift-kit leaf spring can ride. If EZ-rides with decent shocks don't cut it for you, look into custom leafs. Or if you really want everything, look into links/coils.
