Which to choose ??? k30 crew cabs

Thats funny......I just picked up a virtually identical '97 for virtually the same price. I' not sure yet if I can swallow the BBC mileage for just cruising around and going to work.........

I would keep looking because i just picked up a 97 crew cab with a big block that is a 4x4 dually in great shape needed a good cleaning driver door hinges and a passenger door glass for 2,450. Oh yeah and has a rebuilt 4l80E with a couple hundred miles on it. Just look for one that needs nothing. Buddy of mine got a 89 big block 4x4 crew cab that need a new front seat and had a dent in one door for 1400 last year.

97 = ifs


i'd buy the 89.

Since you are going to chop it up for a shortbed, go with the 84 since it has no bed. Dont cut the cherry k30

I agree don't cut up a perfect k30. Go with the 84.

buy them both, put the nice stuff from the dually onto the 84, then sell the 89.
