which transfer case on my k20?

how do i tell what tansfer case i have? my vehicle is an81 k20 that use to be a 6.2L diesel but is now a 350. the tranny is a 700r4. your input is appreciated, thanx.

well, crawl yer happy arse underneath.. lol and take a peek, on the back of the transfercase, should be a tag, its round, silver with red markings on it and stamped on it will be a production number, gear ratio, and t-case type...may need to take a rag and some water or parts cleaner with you...
