right now i have an opurtunity to buy to kick a$$ trucks but i can only bring one more to my house. this truck will be my dd but ive driven higher lifted trucks for a dd before.

one truck is an 85 k5 w/ a 14ff and a 44. The motor was rebuilt (by me actualy) about 10k ago. the truck has a 6inch susp lift and 35 boggers with 3/4 tread. it already has dual exhaust, edelbrock intake and carb, headers etc. The body has a tiny bit of rot in the step up to the back seat and thats it. I could get this truck for $1300.

or

A95 3/4 ton suburban loaded factory tint everything with a 454. i could get this for 2500.

What do you guys think i could get them both but then i woul have to sell either my camaro my 82 dually or my 63 shortbed none of which im willing to sell. i have limited parking and would appreciate your opinions

The K5. I like the smaller rigs on the trail, but you can still load people in the back seat and have cargo space. Burban's can be hard to manuever on the trail. I miss my shorter K5, But also Ive put my 8ft bed to use a few times already. Also you know a little first hand about the vehicle.

both then put the 454 in the k5 and anything else you can get off it and then scrap or part out the rest and you end up with one vehicle
problem solved

I would go with the K5, you have more knowledge of that vehicle. Plus it sounds like it kicks ass.

The k5. Personally I love the burbans, but that sounds like an original 454 and its got to be getting tired after 10 years of use. Same with the trans, wheel bearings and a whole list of other stuff. It sounds like the K5 has a known history and while it might have seen trail use, its cheaper and someone was doing repairs on it.

'burb has FI... thats pretty much all that matters.
