If I remember correctly, the explanation was that the bump stop were progressive or something? They were supposed to give a little after the initial bump.
nice. I wish they hadn't discontinued it. Is the air ride still oem ? Or have the shocks/bags been replaced? Most of my cars are having this problem right now, all but the ones the have e fans.Yesterday, in 117° ambient, while loading the boat, the ac on 01 wasn't cooling while idling. Just moving 5-10mph in the parking lot made the ac work better, 25-35mph and it was even better.
Check the freon charge this morning and was right on the money for 96° 55 and 250. So that leaves air flow on the condenser. Fan clutch is unknown age, but I certainly can hear it while towing uphill in the heat, coolant temp runs a rock solid 205. Whole cooling system, except fan clutch is new July 22, AC, compressor, condenser, and accumulator new June 23.
Before I lay out a $100 on a new gm clutch, I am going to remove this aftermarket grill insert.

These may be cool and look good in Ca, am thinking in AZ the air restriction might too much. Will post my findings.
Thought about it. Have read a few reports, from folks using the extreme duty, about being very noisy. Can you get a heavy duty version? That would probably help.
You can be noisy and cool or hot and quiet.Thought about it. Have read a few reports, from folks using the extreme duty, about being very noisy.
