i just installed a tbi setup on my truck, after i shut the truck off white smoke comes out of the throttle body, i heard somewhere it could be a coolant leak. how worried should I be?

Does the smoke have a sweet smell like antifreeze? If so, you could try to narrow your search. Look for water in the oil. Run a compression test to eliminate block/head leak. If those are all good, then it could be a leak at your intake gasket bleeding coolant back to the intake runners, but if this is the case, you may see a little (a lot?) of white smoke in the exhaust while driving.

If it's not coolant, check injectors as dyeager said. Also check PCV valve to make sure it's in good shape and hooked to the correct vaccum port.

First things first, you need to identify the smoke.

Take a quick sniff. It could be coolant, fuel, or oil. When you know what it is, then you can better troubleshoot.
