The more I try to make the linkage work on my doubler the more I think I’m gonna have to go with a cable set up.
I’m running a 4l80 with 203/205 doubler. No one makes a bolt on 3-stick for that adapter (that I’ve found). I ended up modifying one meant for a TH400 adapter from ORD, but getting it all bolted together is turning into a real bitch.
Has anyone else used the JB Fab 3-stick kit?

I have a jbfab triple stick for a magnum/205 and it works very well. Not sure how different the 203/205 is.

Lots of people, including myself - I use a JB Fab 3 stick cable for my 203/205 doubler and a winters cable shifter for my 4l60e.

best way i found to setup shifter linkage was on a bench or if you have a removable trans tunnel .

and you think your having problems try this from my 1 build thats in slow progress. starts around page 12 of the plow machine build in my link below . 203/205 doubler twin stick 205 / pto in/out & winch control via a cable in cab on 5th lever . then lokar trans shifter in stock 4speed hole but needed to add in a bell crank switch back for the linkage . it all works and took me a day or so of solid fiddling and fabbing . and its a 4L80-e / 241 adapter / 203 face drilled for 241 round 6 bolt / ord doubler kit .

Thank you! I’m using the 241 adapter and I also redrilled the face of the 203 for the round pattern.

The 4l80 is about 3” longer than a TH400 so I’ve already trimmed the floor in front of the center console.

I'll get some, its a plate that bolts to the back of the 205, pretty simple
How long were the cables? I saw in the JB Fab site they offer several different lengths. I wouldn’t even know what to measure. How did you route the cables?
I’m sure I could call them and find out, but it’s nice to hear from people that have done almost the same thing.

I’m used a JB Fab triple stick buggy style shifter with my Doubler, I’m happy with it and it works great.

I think my cables are 60” run in a loop behind the tcase. I’ve noticed some cracking in the outer sheath of the cables so they may be routed too tightly.

@Jumppr do you have an ORD triple stick shifter?

I’ve considered swapping to an ORD shifter because my current cable routing is in the way of a center console.

What mods have you made to the shifter?

I made it so the adapter mounting holes lined up with the round side of the 241 adapter. I also shortened the 203 shifter all-thread. I’ll take some pictures of it tomorrow. It could be easily undone by someone that could fab a little.

And with the length of the 4L80-e i think its better to make the mount bolt to the trans side of the adapter not the t-case .

It’s hard to tell in your pictures but did you also redrill the 241 adapter?

Getting this bolt in the transmission is my problem. I think the way it is set up now I can start the lower bolt on the shifter bracket, and rotate it counter clockwise enough to secure that bolt to the back of the transmission. Then move it back, insert the second bolt in the bracket and tighten it all down.

Can anyone give me a good idea of how high the rear of the 205 should be? I need to make a crossmember now and I want to get it all as close to ride height as possible to measure.

Are you talking about the drivetrain angle? The output flange should be about 3%.
