Who drives without their front swaybar? POST PICS

funny how none of us mentioned what a bitch it is to take off :) If you have a wrenchin' buddy...invite him to the party , it's a lot easier with 2 peeps.I used my floorjack handle on the end of my ratchet for the big bolts.

yeah those bolts are a bear.I put a socket on a pull handle with a long piece of pipe on the pull handle then jacked the end of the piece of pipe up with a floor jack.I daily drive mine and cant tell a difference .Getting ready to lift it 4" so we will see then how it acts.No flex pics but Im gonna pic whore anyway haha:haha:

Does your truck have a lift already? If so it might have been taken off.

The sway bar connects to the u-bolt plate with two bolts. Its held up by the frame area by two more bolts. The bolts on the u-bolt pad are bigger than an inch and hard as hell to get off.

Good luck

you need to befriend someone with air tools... i removed my swaybar by myself (and my airimpact) and i think it took about 15 mins...

I have 6" of lift with skyjacker springs in the back, unknowns up front, and I rub the front tires even with trimming... Ditch the swaybar, and break out the sawzall.

I have a 4" lift and 37" Cann"t tell the difference with or with out. I took it off. No problemo!!
