Who has GM/ACDelco parts and ships fast?

Well, I did it to 20ft/lbs anyways. That was just a little higher than my "feels pretty tight" with a 3/8" ratchet was. Used a gasket and RTV (still leaked with just the gasket). Letting it set now. We'll see later if it leaks.

Doesn't anyone use this stuff on a regular basis? I use this with a gasket on every thermostat I've ever done and I've never once had a leak.

I have neither and the parts stores don't deliver. 14 miles is a long way to walk each way.

Just as far away. I live out in the "hills and dales" west of town. Right about where the "town" starts is where anything I need is.

Filled it up and had no leaks. Drove it on an errand into town and I noticed it seems to weep a bit but nothing scary. No lose of coolant as far as I could tell and the temp guage was happy. Then drove it 3 hours down here to Mom and Dad's and again, all seems well.
Annoying part is there doesn't seem to be a 6.2L in all of the junkyards around Grand Rapids, MI. NAPA down here doesn't have the water neck/thermostat outlet either. They list a chrome one but it's also the same part number they list for a 350. I'm dubious but going to go check it out tomorrow at their warehouse.

Might try Berger Chevy or Classic Chevy in Grand Rapids. If anyone would have it they would.
