I think I blew it hit Pritchett when wanted Golden spike.

Damn

I was going to rail Golden Spike, hit town for a beer restock then hit Pritchett to rock lizard and heckle as you tear the crap out of your junk.

Now your ruining my fun:dunno:

FYI for everyone else it looks like the 35" tire quota may be full for Golden Spike. I think there are two in the group now so there may not be room for more small tire guys.

Your good with me for Golden Spike Wade.

Ohhh I can't choose. I'll be there from Tuesday if any of the pros wanna help a newbie :D

Flat Iron
I don't know about Saturday. Maybe Crack N Back, but that means I miss Pritchett. Golden Spike sounds awesome but long, especially for my first time.
Hell's Revenge

And I feel like I'm missing out on the BFE fun but I guess I can watch.

If you are doing flat iron on Friday, you won't see the wheeling at BFE. Hard see if you're not wheeling it.

I'm no pro, but I am getting Monday and leaving the following Monday. So plenty of opportunity to wheel during the week.

You can go to BFE then run the Flat Iron Mesa group it usually leaves after the meet and greet. It is an easy trail too.

Crack and back is a good fit for a Moab First timer. There is a lot of finesse type things that the Crack and Back can help you learn, plus it catches about 70% of the good obstacles of the Golden Spike trail.

Not being an ass but the Golden Spike trail is for the more experienced type. Not that is a hard trail it's just one of those long day trails and to do it in a timely manner you have to keep moving at a good pace. I feel like we had a good pace last year and we still would have been on the trail about 8 hours if we hadn't had issues. The upbeat pace that the trail needs requires an experienced wheeler to look at the terrain and interpret what they should do without spotting for good portions of the day.

Now I can sleep. Thanks.

Yep too bad for you, you're stuck with Pritchett now!

Sorry Wade I guess your on Pritchett. Golden Spike just got a whole new level of fast introduced. I need to spectate Pritchett at about noon time:thumb:

Not being an ass but the Golden Spike trail...

:waytogo:
It's all good. I doubt there would be a problem but I would feel terrible if I was the slow one that needed babysitting. I've only used a spotter once, mainly to watch out for my tierod and ram, and it was his first time spotting. It sounded more like "ohhh ohhh, ok now you're trying to flip over, I see, put your tire here ohh ok now I see where you're going, ohh ok, I get what you're doing...." :doah::haha:

I'll sign up for the Crack N Back and hope to talk someone into doing Pritchett with me :D:whistle:

Edit: Apparently I signed up for "Hello Revenge"?

Are you saying I can't go fast? Sheesh. I always thought I was one of the innovators of the straight axle, go fast vehicles.:D

I do remember 2 brothers asking me if I had stiffer springs when I body rolled into the motel 6 parking lot in 2007. And a few other people telling me the truck wasn't going to work in Moab. I almost left. Glad I didn't, but I was scared to death all weekend.

Bring on Golden Spike. I'm up for it and Pritchett in the same day. not really.

I think Brandon was saying we had to get through Golden Spike by noon so he can catch up to you on Pritchett since Scott said you're stuck on Pritchett.

I didn't read it that way. Now I'm offended.

I have wanted to do GS. But the massive amount of trucks and running until 4am did not do it forme. You guys seem to have it figured out now. So I am in.

Also, Amber and I will be getting there the Saturday before so we can hit some trails when you get there Monday.
