The specs sound good, make sure you find Brandon or myself at BFE so we can check out your rig and see you wheel. The Golden Spike run has been a historically cursed run and Brandon and myself are trying to change that. Even though we had numerous bizarre failures last year (2 failed ignitors on 2 different rigs on the same trail...), we still managed to get everyone off the trail before the sun set.

We're aiming for dinner at the brewery this year.

Will do , we have been looking forward to this for awhile , should be fun no matter what trail we run

Take a look at this thread from last year. It is a selection process, however last year we took everyone that signed up. The idea is that the average Moab first timer may not be a good fit, HOWEVER I'm not going to turn away someone who has a wheeling Pedigree that makes them a nice fit for the trail.

The no first timers idea is for the guy that just finished his first build, and this is the first time wheeling the vehicle and perhaps even his first time really wheeling for three days straight.

I will also say that people that didn't run the trail last year will have preference over someone who was on the trail last year. We need to allow everyone who can and wants to run the trail the ability to do that at this event and I don't want a crew of the same 10 every year if possible.

does this mean I can sit in your passenger seat instead of the other jack this year?

windshield wiper pump/reservoir...mount the squirter inside.

I was kidding about the seat..gonna ride with keith unless I can get my secret project done. don't want to jinx it with a build thread

I just want to wheel one day probably the Saturday and hitch a ride the Friday and Sunday if possible.

I think most people would be grateful knowing you didn't rush your truck together just to make it.

You are correct, If It made the drive I would be more then happy to just have it at the BBQ. That is what matters the most to me.:thumb: The trails would be a bonus which I don't want to take something I'm not confident on.

My completely stock explorer has been to the bash 3 times because of hiccups while building my rig. I wheel what it can which is sightseeing stuff and still had a great time. Rode shotgun with somebody and had a blast.
