Who here has done a crew cab swap on a sub frame?

Im doing a little research on here......lookin to put a 86 2wd crew cab body ona 89 1/2 ton 4x4 surburban frame. What are the body mount points I am looking to modify correctly to get it to mount up nice. I know I have to modify the floor for the 4x4 hump/shifter atrea thats not a problem. I think just the rear body mount im lookin at to modify

That'd be me. The outside mounts line up, the only one I had to make was the one at the back of the cab. I welded in a piece of angle with holes cut for the body mounts. You have to do more than transfer the removable trans hump too, the rear section isn't there for it to bolt to. I had to cut that section of floor from the Suburban floor and weld it into the crew cab floor.

Cool if thats all it takes it should be a fairly easy swap then im guessin thanks. If anyone has more to share feel free!!!!!

Unless I'm mistaken, I'm the only one on here that's done it. I posted questions about it before I did it and got a big fat goose egg response.
