1/2 ton status
hey guys who here is running 63" springs? what did you motify to run them and what lift did you generate
I'm running them. The amount of lift depends on what truck you get them out of. Mine are from a 1/2 ton 2wd. They only have 2 leafs with an overload. I added a 1" zero-rate and I would say I now have 4" lift (with a 4" ORD shackle flip) I am also using 8" long shackles from DIY4X. I plan on adding one, maybe two, more leafs to the pack. Yea im using kert's usdr shackles, earlier i posted they were 8" long, they are actually 7"yeh the ones i have are off a 1/2 ton 4x4. i thik like 5 plys maybe..are those their USDR shackles?

Do you have any sort of traction bar? I'm sure that would prolong their life. I have DIY's wrap bar on my truckI'm running 1/2 tons and I am sure I will be having to replace them later. I have heard they twist up easy. I will see how things work.
Made my shackle flip brackets and Have 7" shakle .
Guessing around 6 or 7" lift.

Thanks John.![]()
So most people leave the front mount in the stock location and move the shackle flip back? Any issues with the tank?
