I did manage to run my buggy into a sweet read crew cab dually on 38's the last day though..

What an Awesome time!!!

Kota and I volunteered for Croud control, road crossings etc....You would not believe the idiot spectators out there. 7 a.m. - 11:30 herding, yelling, running, chasing, etc... Good time though.


Saw the ORD 4488 on the coarse tearing it up. Met Russel and Erik, Also met the Horton and Russels twin Tahoe. Med KidJethro also and his monster crew cab.

By far the Greatest racer was number 4680(?)....little toy pick-up on 39's, 22re and fully leaf sprung. No 1-tons, just toy axles, His shock's cost more than the whole truck. But that guy was one of the 30ish trucks to finish. Granted it was 34 minutes too late, but he didnt even have a GPS, he used a ****ty map you buy at the gate.

Watched him clunk his way down the back door water fall after 10pm honking his little horn, then crawl up short-bus right past two broke down high dollar tube buggies.


Now its time for a shower.

On the last big spot...as each car would climb down back door and up short bus, they would blast thier sirens and such and the croud would give a little clap and make a little noise.

Then a small light shined on the rocks and this little black Toy comes squeeking and clanking down the trail and honks his little stock horn and every one of those guys went Ape-****

Then as he is climbing past the broke buggies on short bus they are going nuts and yelling at the buggies "Hey look at that stock truck climb past your buggy."

Deffinate crowd favorite for sure.

Tahoe belongs to Alex from Denver.

Russel wasn't with our crew although some of our pit guys spent time wheeling with his pit guys cause we were always pre running.

What a fun Race. No issues, no flat tires just gas in the car all day.

Haha I was there too. I gave a flashlight to one of the guys carrying gas up to one of those buggies.

Yep that's the guy...That was his first lap as the second time down back door it was after 10pm.

All those stickers...they werent sponsers, they were the same free "swag" that we all picked up at the booths, ha ha. He just plastered them all over.

We need to be more organized about doing the ck 5 get together thing next year fellas,

I saw Mike and Dave, little too much of Russel Jeff and Brent and the Watsons, and Joe. I think, still recovering from the trip, the car Russel was co driving for (4502) had all sorts of issues we got em all fixed up and raced in the big race though.
