Summit has their 159.99 ones just wondering where I can find some for like $100? Why are shorty headers more than my full lengths? I don't want to run them but do to the rotated case I'd rather keep my case out of the rocks and lose say 10 or 15 horsepower. I know Hedman makes a set I think is cheaper than the Summit ones but can't locate them.

mine are headman, i think on the reciept it said the headers were for a YJ with a chevy V8. i can get a part # but not till later. I found them at JEGS for the cheapest $

just ordered a set for a V8 swap in a S10. $125, better than the summit priced ones and I don't think the summit ones come with collectors.

Summit doesn't make a shorty for a K5 blazer last time I checked. /forums/images/graemlins/screwy.gif

they just make a generic truck header /forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif they list it for the newer ones but it will work fine on older ones since I've seen them in person.

That sounds about right, mine came w/ everything (headers, a collector on the headers themself and an extra for the pipe, and gaskets. and a bunch of stickers for the extra HP /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

oooh well I will slap the stickers on. got a section just for stickers that I expect to be bashed off. Not the stickers just the area /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

rotated all the way up my front shaft would be hitting the passenger side collector. This way I can route around that.

Exactly, with the regular long headers the collector was directly in the way of the driveshaft. with everythng moved back w/ the shortys you can route the exhaust any way you want.
