Who runs 33\'s or equivalent and a 14bol? Got pics?

I'm thinking about running this combo until I can afford to regear. I haven't even gotten my 14bolt yet but it'll probably be 4:11 or 4:10s.

I'm running 33s and 373s right now and it's not that great. Good but could be better I think. Passing gear and stuff.

So I figure, if I get the 3/4 ton running gear and run 35s with 4:11s it'll be the same as my combo now power wise.

If you got pics of how low that diff will be to the ground, show 'em please.

I don't have any pics of the clearance, but I can tell you it will be like tugging an anchor from your rear axle /forums/images/graemlins/eek.gif
I ran 33" Claws for about 6 months and it hit almost everthing in it's path /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I would recommend getting those 35's pretty quick /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

That looks even lower.

I was just thinking about it on my drive home from Tahoe last night. I had a full-load and my friends that were with me were pretty big guys. (no less than 200lbs a piece). Plus out snowboards and gear. Accelerating was pretty slushy in general.
The 33's that I have now are pretty new too. I guess we'll see how it goes.

Nope.. didn't drag any on the road or even on the milder local trails.
You could also shave about an inch off of the bottom of the pumpkin as well. Just a thought.
BTW BFG 33x12.50 R16.5's at the time.

The 4.10's were really nice with 33's. Now the 4.10's aren't so great with 37's.

I drug mine alot for the couple months I ran with the 265s till I went to 35s. Still drag but not nearly as much.

MY '77 K20 with a Rancho 2.5" easy ride lift. I ran some mild trails with no problems and had 9.50x 16.5s on it as I couldn't afford new tires at the time. Those were about 29"s I think. It was '77 K20 sbc400 T350/203 D44/ 14bFF 4.10s.Was a good truck till some farm worker puntched the left side broadside as I was doing 55 down the freeway. Walked away unhurt and the insurance paid me $2000.00 more than I could have sold it for. After it rolled they had to take my word that it was mint before.

If you can afford it regear to 4.56. I am running 32's & 4.56's and I like it alot with the OD. The power improvment over the 32's & 3.73's is great. I can't imagine going back to it after having the 4.56's. The clearence like everyone has stated is very low. I shaved about 1" off the 14bff and I still only have maybe 8" under the diff. I measured it as about 1 full hand under the diff. (large hand)

I for sure want to run 4.56 but it's gonna be a while before I can get them. Haven't even found the axles yet...

Check with your ISP and see if they offer free webspace. Thats the only reason I don't have pop ups /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I dont have an ISP. My internet provider is the college.
