Who runs boggers on a DD??

i have 33" x 14 boggers on my DD and they do get flat spots, and they do smell like hot rubber even after a short trip.but i don't care i love these tires.the flat spots go away alot faster than the 36's on my other truck.the most fun on road is watching people roll their window up when i'm next to them. i like changing things on stuff on my truck all the time, including tires, so i don't worry to much about miles on stuff. and stuff

If you get Hawgs keep them rotated and balanced
I wish inerco would make a harder radial bogger But that would probably take from it off road

they are offroad tires

why would yo buy those to waste them on pavement?

Unfortunately not every one can afford a tow vehicle and most of the trails require a 200 mile round trip. One of the guys tried running the 37" Bogges on the back and the 37" SSR's on the front, it's still so bad on the road he is thinking about buying 2 more SSR's for the back and just keeping the Boggers for the trail. He was running 39" TSL's before and didn't think they were too bad on the road.

dont need a tow vehicle... throw ur big boggers in the back of ur rig... and roll to ur 4x4 destination on a set of el cheapo 31s. problem solved.

I guess that could be done, and maybe wouldn't be that bad for a long weekend trip but most of our trips are one day events.

The last thing I want to do is try to cram a set of 38" Swampers in the back of my Blazer, leave at 5 a.m. instead of 6 a.m. to allow enough time, drive 2 hours, wrestle with changing tires along the side of a trail, have a set of street tires crammed inside the Blazer for the entire trail, and then wrestle with the now muddy 38" Swampers and cram them back inside the Blazer............. no thank you!

But remember you wouldn't have to spend time airing down or airing back up for the street...

Wish I had a shed. I live in an apartment complex and they didn't take too kindly at my rig marking its territory all over the place with oil!! Now its tak'n a dump with all the mud on it. You shoulda seen the look on the guys face who drives a Mustang and keeps his car washed and waxed every week if not more often!! /forums/images/graemlins/rotfl.gif

you would want to get 44" ground hawgs, they measure 40". I'm seriously considering getting them, my 42" swampers are about done for.

Hey man, when you get rid of the 42s let me know, I need a spare. So long as it still holds air I don't care what the tread is like. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

works for me with my 39.5s. I guess it DOES require some effort... but thats ok... unless ur rich, burning $1000 tires on asphault is just dumb!

its a show truck and is occasionally used for mud drags/boggs. and frankly these MT's suck offroad. so im thinkin bout gettin some ground hawgs. they have decent tread and last pretty long i guess so that is my next choice.
