And how do you store your winch when not in your receiver? I don't like the idea of wheeling with it in the front or rear receiver since it sticks out farther than the bumper, but I really hate the idea of a loose winch in the back of the Blazer. Any ideas on how to safely mount it out of the way?

Take an old recevier and cut it down a bit and some how mount in the back of the blazer and slide the winch in it as if it was mounted on your rig. Do you follow what Im sayin??
Just an idea.

You can kinda see the winch in the back of a local guys in out club's truck. He mounted a receiver in his bad that bolts to the frame like it would underneath

I figured on doing something like that. My Blazers not a daily driver, but I was trying to think of a mount that wouldn't take up to much room in the bed when I have to use it for carrying stuff. I'll post when I come up with something. Thanks for the pictures.
