Medford is ONLY 1 hr away from the best sand dune recreation area in the world
Florence? How do you get to the coast from Medford in under 3 hrs? Or are you thinking of somewhere else?

Haha! I wouldn't know the difference. Never wheeled any sand.
I grew up in Hauser area - wheeled in sand all the time growing up - I'm do miss it now - but did get pretty sick of it for awhile - LOL!
In high school had three different buddies lose their rigs to the ocean (got stuck to close to the water and the tide came in) One of which was a BRAND new loaded '95 Suburban my junior year of high school - man was his Dad pissed. Fun times!
My first truck was a '75 K20 - bent the crap out of the frame on that thing doing stupid airborne tricks in the sand.

I was thinkin Spinreel but that connects to Hauser and Horsefall. I think North bend is 1 1/2 hrs from Medford
I think you might be thinking of Roseburg to North Bend. It is about 3 hours from Medford to North Bend. One wouldn't think it would be such a chore to get from So. Oregon to the coast, but there's just no straight path. They're all 25 MPH windy roads. As the crow flies, I live about a hundred miles from the coast, but it takes over 3 hours to get there! I have to go north 50 miles before I head south into California to get to the beach.
