Someone on here remade that stupid plastic piece that always breaks on the the blend door in metal one time. Who was it?

Martin

That was a different one than I was talking about, but thanks.

Martin

That was it. I guess no one ever did make that file in metal though, huh? Can anyone do that? Adam, don't you play with that stuff?

Martin

Isnt it funny how in any thread you can find a random question or comment aimed at adam and everyone assumes he'll see it:D funny part is that he usually does:haha: he must just cruise all the new threads too

pretty much any of the metal attempts work. mines made out of a piece of 5/16" or 3/8" brake tube. works like a charm:waytogo:

I suspect there will be a response within 10 minutes starting...now.

Just asked for the dfx file got a buddy with a 3d printer. See if he can make me some

I've got a printer and can print in PLA and maybe ABS. While they're both plastics, at least they should be less brittle than the original.

If anybody wants to try one, shoot me a PM with your snail address and I'll print you a couple up and mail 'em out for you to try. If they don't work, we're not out anything but time.

If you want them made out of steel i can do it. I don't have a 3d printer though. But I can get steel cut.

What would that cost?

Martin

Depends on how thick and how many. To just have one cut it would prolly cost a good chuck of money (without getting a real quote I have no idea) To have 100 cut, the price per would be much less etc.

It cost $90 or so to have that plate I made for Richards bumper out of 10 gauge.
