My wheeling is usually in the Adironak Mountains here in NY and stay above
1500 most of the time with almost no difference from normal. One other thing thats nice is the engine braking on the trail. I love that about them except on a slick down hill you can lost traction quick.
If I had the option I would run a 6.5 NA as opposed to a 6.2 turbo. The turbo engine will make better power, but for reliablity it would be easier. The turbo will most likely have to be rebuild before the engine will. Also, the other thing about the diesel thats nice is, if you break a alt belt (or some other charging problem), you can travel a lot father on just a battery in the diesel.
