Oh, we were in an offroad park up here in Edmonton called the Alberta Safari Park. We hold our version of TTC there, and have all the top competitors of Canada (and some from the US) out to play every year.
Its pretty dug out from rigs running 70"+ tires, which makes for lots of fun for us little guys! This particular trail is basically a bunch of big nasty mud holes one after another. Since they freeze up in the winter, we are able to make it through them. However, they are super steep to climb in and out of, and all the Jeeps were having a bunch of difficulty getting through it and iced the hills of them up real bad while spinning their tires on them. The black K10 in the foreground popped a bead on one of his tractor tires just infront of me, and we'd just finished winching him off the trail and out of the way. I hadn't got stuck on the trail yet, while everyone else had been winching so far. I took a good run at the last berm, which is also the steepest trying to use momentum to get me up the side.
I made it up the side way easier than I thought I would, and had too much speed to be able to stop at the top. Just on the other side is the next frozen mud pit, which is bordered by 3 or 4 foot walls straight up and down and unfortunately, I wound up aimed in such a way that my driver's side tire was down in the pit, and the passenger's side tire was just far enough over to catch the bank and flip me right over. If I'd had just a hair less speed I'd have been able to turn myself left enough to just drop into the pit (though that'd have been quite the drop!) without flipping.
That said, I was still only doing about 5 mph when I flopped, and it was a pretty gentle one at that. I was in 3rd gear low range with hardly any throttle on when it happened.
