Goldrush met him there.. I think his name was Leo.. Not sure.. He tore up the right rear quarter panel .. He scored a 230. Not bad on the first day.. The people that made it in to the finals scored around 195. Here are some more pics of it...KLICK

That rig is even sweeter in person. His rig was one of the few in the comp that was street legal. I swear if he rolled that thing I would've started crying!

O.K. If I remember right his name is Louie and he is from OakHurst, CA. He does body work and builds street only 4X4's and sells them for a living. He wheels all up and down California.

The K5 has a NP205 with a Marlin Crawler gear box behind it for a crawl ratio of 205 to 1 vs. a NP203/NP205 doubler having a 100 to 1 crawl ratio. All the running gear is 1 ton including springs. No suspension mods other than the addition of the 1 ton spring lift. He has a york compressor (from a junk yard $25 including all brackets) and a 2 gallon air tank mounted in front of gas tank under the bed. He also runs an AGR steering pump that gave out on him during CALROCS after being in the truck for only 1 week. AGR pumps must suck.
