I'm suprised my name hasn't risen out of this thread.

I used to daily drive my K5 everywhere, with many long road trips, and as a weekend warrior.

Now it's 100% an offroad truck. But still looks pretty if I take the hose too it....

One day when I have the cash I plan on finishing restoring it, which was my original plan.
All it needs is a paint job, new interior, a little chroming, and a few electrical things buttoned up and it would be nearly show truck status.

Thanks for the complement. Honestly, I can't remember the brand of the hood. It is a private guy in a single shop someplace in Tennessee. PM a guy by the name of "beater K20" he knows. It's a 3.5" cowl.
